5[Review from Braun UK: English Review] I've been using the Braun Series 3 Shave&Style for about 2 weeks now and have to say I'm really pleased with it. I roughly use it every day to trim my beard and it's only just started flashing to indicate it needs charging. Pros:- Easy to hold and style beard- Duel use - trimmer and shaver- Battery Life- Shaver does not irritate skinCons:- I would look at buying the version that has a small trimmer blade for sideburns etc.I will say, I did nearly shave half my beard off when using because my previous trimmer didn't require the length attachments. However, despite my error, I'm converted and like the attachments as you know what length you are getting. Overall, I would recommend. Colour looks good. It fits in a travel bag and it beats having a trimmer and a shaver.5/5

4[Review from Braun UK: English Review] This is probably around the fourth or fifth electric shaver I 've used, I tend to favour them over wet shaving purely from a practicality point of view. Generally sporting a bit of a beard over the last few years, my shaving preferences switched from rotary head ones for a closer shave, to a clipper style to allow some growth. Unfortunately my previous shaver only consisted of a clipper head with an adjustable length comb, great for the beard but not so great for a cleaner shave around its perimeter.So, with a clipper head, adjustable combs, AND a foil head, the Braun S3 seemed an ideal solution. On opening the box, you are greeted with a surprisingly beefy instruction manual to immediately throw away or repurpose as a door stop, the shaver, complete with foil head and plastic travel cover installed, a pack of various sized combs, the clipper head itself, a dinky little cleaning brush, and a very manly drawstring bag to store the spare comb heads in. All of these come individually wrapped in cellophane bags, held very securely in a polystyrene tray.The shaver itself is very solid, pleasingly weighty, and has a distinct premium feel to it. It just fits well in the hand, with a slightly rubberised grip. Although perhaps that is mainly because my previous shaver cost all of £9 €¦ but still the build quality can 't be ignored. It feels like the kind of thing you could punt across the room unharmed. Not that I endorse that kind of thing.The foil and clipper heads are very easy to swap and simply pull off with the aid of tabs on both sides for grip, and the interchangeable combs slide nicely on and are held very securely. My one issue with the interchangeable head situation is that the plastic travel cover, which also serves as a guard to prevent accidental powering up of the unit and shaving of your best jumper inside your suitcase, only fits over the foil head, not the clipper. This means that for general storage and transit, the foil head has to be attached to the unit. This is not a massive issue but if you tend to favour the clipper, it could be a bit of a pain to swap them around on every use. It also would have been nice if the whole unit fitted inside the material bag which holds the accessories, purely as it means you 're carrying around 2 separate things, and I guess if you 're the forgetful type it could be quite easy to leave the bag next to the hotel sink having just packed the shaver away.So, performance! I 've been using the S3 for around a fortnight now, shaving on average every 2 days. Beginning with the clippers, I 've tried a couple of the combs and each gives a good even length, while the clipper itself cuts very sharp and clean. Using the head with no comb allows a neat border to be cut into the growth, giving almost as close a shave as the foil head. Switching to the foil head though, the area around the beard can be tidied up, and any remaining hairs are cut almost to skin level. The head is pivoted on the x and y axis, and even has a sort of z axis suspension system so it moulds to the contours of your jawline and neck like a Sherman tank. In terms of battery life, supposedly a full charge gives 45mins of use, but I can 't really comment on that as I haven 't used it nearly enough. It does seem to charge quite quickly though.Overall, this is easily the best shaver I 've used, despite the admittedly minimal faffing it takes to swap the heads. It does exactly what you 'd expect, and does it exceptionally well. I can 't see anyone being disappointed.Oh and it 's completely waterproof so you can also use it to shave your gentleman 's unmentionables.Solid 8/10.

4[Review from Braun UK: English Review] This is a great razor straight out of the box. it shave well and close and can even be used in the shower as a wet razor! on to the beard trimming the trimmer only goes to a 7 where as I'm more a 10 so going to be short for some people. Doing tricky detail was difficult. All in all a great razor if you want full clean shave or a beard trimmed to 7 or lower with not to much detail.

4[Review from Braun UK: English Review] The razor has a very attractive design that fits the hand very well when in use. The light blue sides give a very nice highlight against the black exterior. The battery life is fantastic length to it. It lasted me almost a week without having to charge it.In regards to the effectiveness of the shave, I am always clean shaven so cant test the beard trimmer unfortunately. I have very irritable skin so usually struggle with itchy skin afterwards. I was pleasantly surprised how little irritation there was after i used it. I don't know whether that was due to the fact that it was a new fresh blade or if the actual razor helped with it. Either was if you are looking for less irritation after shaving, this razor will do the trick.

3[Review from Braun UK: English Review] I've been using the beard trimming accessories and percission head for a couple of weeks now and I've had mixed results. The percission trimmer is great for tidying up around the edges of my beard but I've found that when using the trimmer it has been missing quite a few hairs leaving small patches longer than others. And also the longest attachment (number 7) is also quite short. The razor itself charges quickly and has a reasonable battery life. I have noticed that it is quite loud compared to other electric trimmers that I've used. the trimming attachment is easy to keep clean and the pouch is useful for keeping everything together.

5[Review from Braun UK: English Review] First impression of Braun S3 Shave & Style 3010BT Wet & dry is very good, look like very expensive product. High end design - blue inlay on the traditional black exterior give the Braun a little bit cool/funky look. It is lightweight and quiet, comes with more than five attachments, depending on how you want to count them ( trimming between 1-7mm). It provides a close shave either wet or dry, and the beard trimmer makes grooming easy with five comb attachments of different lengths. The beard trimmer attachment works great for touching up sideburns. It also features comb attachments, which easily slide onto and off of the trimmer head, allowing a variety of length options.Braun S3 Shave & Style 3010BT Wet & dry is great gadget. It is a very good shaver with a five-minute quick charge feature. The unit feels durable, performs wonderfully, and is feels comfortable in the hand whilst shaving. I have to admit fantastic product. I highly recommend this shaver not only to men who like to keep their beards looking sharp, but to the close shave crowd who loves an electric.

4[Review from Braun UK: English Review] The first time I tried to cut 2-week beard with the number 1 trimmer. Beard shortened really well. Later tried shaved completely. Facial skin was not completely smooth, but compared with the old shaver, this one is much better. I like it that can be used for wet and dry shaving.

4[Review from Braun UK: English Review] This feels like the real deal. Well built, sturdy and simple to use. In my opinion It shaves closer than my previous shaver; there is one big issue though. If you have a decent length of beard it can sometimes require you to go over a couple of times to even it all up, it seems to miss some parts. Which isn't the end of the world but means it takes a little extra time and concentration.The parts that come with the shaver are of good quality and clip on easily to the main part.It charges really quickly which is a bonus and then once charged the battery lasts a substantial amount of time.This is definitely a good product for guys who shave everyday, as it works best with short facial hair. Anything longer and you have to take extra time getting your face looking perfect.

3[Review from Braun UK: English Review] On first opening, the shaver looked quite impressive and high quality.I thought I would give a try straight out the box. At this point, the hair on my face was roughly 5 or 6 days uncut - so quite thick. I used the foil cutter to shave this but it hardly had any effect. I don't know if this was because it was too thick and is better suited to short stubble or if the shaver needed a charge prior to use (I think the first). When shaving, it wouldn't even cut the hair when going in the same direction as the hair. Going against the hair and it would cut, but would take a few passes for it to be smooth. I decided to give up at this point and put it on charge - switching back to my other brand shaver to finish the job.After a full charge and with much shorter stubble I tried again. The shaver still didn't cut particularly well going in the same direction as the hair, but it was easier to get a smooth cut.It does also come with another head for trimming, which is very handy and a better use for this razor.Personally, this isn't as good as my other electric razor and I can't see me using this much. It will be handy as a spare should my other razor run out of charge mid shave!

5[Review from Braun UK: English Review] I've always had wet shaves due to electric shavers leaving me with whats known as a blue beard. This is not always convienient when your pushed for time or going away on holiday. After seeing this new shaver hitting the shops I thought I would give electric shavers a second chance. This Braun Series 3 ProSkin razor is perfect as it is a wet and dry shaver and not only that it also has a precision beard trimmer and styler. I was really impressed with how close the shaver had gotten to my skin, was equally as close as a wet shave and was shocked there was no sign of a blue beard. I've tried it wet and dry and although I will be using it as a dry shaver when I'm in a rush or going away I will use it as a wet shaver with shaving gel as this leaves my skin feeling soft and fresh. Now I don't have a beard to be able to comment on the trimming and styling attachment but I have used it to trim my body hair which makes it perfect for grooming. All round great razor. Comes with, Exchangeable shaver head, Exchangeable precision trimmer, 5 trimmer comba, Soft bag for combs, Protective cap, Cleaning brush and a Smart plug for automatic 100-240 voltage adjustment.
